Marcel Desailly © Gallo Images Desailly confident he will get coaching job

Former France captain Marcel Desailly says he is close to reaching a deal to succeed Milovan Rajevac as Ghana coach.
The 42-year-old former Marseille and AC Milan defender told Saturday's edition of L'Equipe newspaper that all parties involved, "from the minister to the head of the federation," look to be happy with his bid.
The Ghana federation confirmed earlier this week that Rajevac resigned, ending a two-year stint where he took Ghana to the final of the 2010 African Cup of Nations and the last eight of the World Cup in South Africa.
Desailly, who was born in Ghana, said financial details have still to be sorted out before a deal is reached.
Desailly, who won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 with France, ended his playing career in 2006.
