Gombe Utd coach resigns

Head coach of Gombe United, Ben Duamlong, has resigned his appointment at the club with just 13 days to the kick off of the new season.
The coach confirmed his resignation from the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) side to SuperSport.com in a telephone interview on Thursday.
But Duamlong refused to give reasons for his resignation. “Yes I resigned my appointment with the club on Wednesday,” he began on telephone. “There’s no reason for resigning and I am not going to another club.”
Spokesman for Gombe United, Jack Moses, also disclosed that the management of the club has accepted the resignation of the coach and is now shopping for a quick replacement before the start of the league on October 23. Two coaches are already being considered for the vacant post at Gombe United, according to Moses.
The two coaches are Zachary Baraje and one Paulo Camargo from Brazil. Manu Garba is also being considered for a coaching role at the club since he is the longest serving in the playing personnel at Gombe United.
